POLOKWANE – You might not want to pack away your warm jerseys and jackets just yet as the city is set for a considerable temperature drop this week.
This is due to two cold fronts bringing cold weather and snow to the western parts of the country and spreading east to Limpopo from Tuesday.
As a result, daytime temperatures of 18ºC is expected in the city on Tuesday and Wednesday before warming up again on Thursday.
Temperatures will range in the thirties, high twenties and low teens this week, starting off at a balmy 35ºC on Monday.
AccuWeather has issued a warning that caution should be taken should you do strenuous activities on Monday.
Meanwhile, the second half of the week will be warmer with plenty of sunshine on the cards.
Residents can expect highs of 31ºC and 32ºC over the weekend with clear skies.
Little to no rain is expected in the city this week and minimum temperatures will range between 4ºC and 11ºC.
