Mamelodi Sundowns are just ahead of Kaizer Chiefs in the race for victory in the Absa Premiership’s Q-Innovation Quarter Three and the R.15 million that goes with it.

The Brazilians may be leading Amakhosi by a hefty ten points in the race for the league title, but in Q3 the gap is only two points at the halfway stage.

Sundowns have won all four of their league matches in Q3, while Chiefs have three wins and a draw.

Of the Brazilians’ remaining four games in Q3, three are at home, against Golden Arrows, MP Black Aces and Bloemfontein Celtic. Their only away game is a Tshwane derby at SuperSport United.

Chiefs also have three home games, against SuperSport United, Polokwane City and Jomo Cosmos, with their only away game at Platinum Stars.
