Ajax Cape Town coach Roger De Sa is pleased with the way his team played against GD Sagrada Esperanca in the Caf Confederation Cup match at the Estadio Sagrada Esperanca on Saturday.

Ajax beat Esperanca 2-1 away in Angola, with Ruzaigh Gamildien and Riyaad Norodien scoring the goals for the Urban Warriors.

The Urban Warriors left for Angola on Friday morning, travelling 14 hours a day before the game was played, the players overcame jet lag, hot and humid conditions to beat the home side.

“Overall it was a very good performance from everybody. We had control of the game throughout. We possibly could’ve scored more, but in the end I was very happy with the way the guys carried themselves. Hopefully we can finish the job back home,” De Sa told the club’s official website.
