Kaizer Chiefs captain Siphiwe Tshabalala is happy with his team’s performance during their 4-0 demolition of Comoros side Volcan de Moroni in the first leg of the Caf Champions League on Sunday.
Goals by Bernard Parker, Sula Matovu and a brace by defender Eric Mathoho ensured that Amakhosi take a healthy deficit going into the second leg in Durban in two weeks’ time.
“We did well and the results came our way. It was a good match and well done to the guys,” said Tshabalala on his official website.
“I hope that we can continue in that light. It is just a matter of doing our best and taking it a game at a time. Progress is imminent.”
Chiefs are set to host Volcan at Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday, February 27.
