Jomo Cosmos need a little luck in their game. That is what left back, Cheslyn Jampies, believes the team needs to end their winless streak in the Absa Premiership.

Cosmos will host Kaizer Chiefs on Tuesda night in a Absa Premiership game and Jampies believes that with a little luck, they can beat not just Amakhosi but win other games as well.

“I think we have been doing quite well. We play good football and create lots of chances, but we fail to convert them to goals. I think we need some luck in our game and everything will be just fine,” said the former Santos defender.

Cosmos have found the going quite tough since their return to top flight, and have scored just once in six games, and have drawn half of their fixtures and lost the other half.

They are currently on 15th position with just three points, but are one above Maritzburg United who have just one point.

Jampies said despite the team’s poor start, coach, Jomo Sono has remained calm and supportive of his players, telling them that the results will come soon.

“Bra J has been very calm, he told us not to panic but to be patient and focused all the time. He has been very understanding,” said Jampies.
