Pirates offload Kamohelo Mabuya

News coming out of the Orlando Pirates camp is that the club has handed midfielder Kamohelo Mabuya his clearance.

Mabuya becomes the second Bucs player to be released from his contract after Lwazi Skosana was also handed his clearance last month.

The duo didn’t get much game time at Pirates after they were signed at the beginning of last season.

Skosana was loaned out to Polokwane City in January, but didn’t make an impact at Rise and Shine and upon his return to Pirates he was deemed surplus to requirements.

Mabuya failed to break the Oupa Manyisa and Issa Sarr central midfield partnership last season and with Pirates having signed Yasser Mugerwa, Mabuya found himself in the wilderness this season.

Meanwhile, midfielder Jacky Motshegwa is facing an uncertain future at Pirates. Motshegwa was not registered with the Premier Soccer League for the 2015/16 season.
