Bafana Bafana midfielder May Mahlangu wants a move to Stuart Baxter’s new Turkish club Genclerbirligi.

Mahlangu’s short-term deal with another Turkish side, Konyaspor, is coming to an end, and Phakaaathi understands that Mahlangu would like to remain in Turkey and is keen to play under Baxter, who left Kaizer Chiefs recently.

Meanwhile, as reported by Phakaaathi earlier, Baxter is said to be keen to bring clubless Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune to Turkey.

Khune is currently clubless after he was released by Chiefs following a deadlock in talks between Amakhosi and his agent.

He has been linked with Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates, but there has been no confirmation yet from these clubs’ about their interest in him.
