Five years ago South Africa hosted the biggest sporting event in the form of the 2010 Soccer World Cup. The tournament’s opening game was between the host nation, Bafana Bafana and Mexico.

The game ended 1-1 draw with goals from Siphiwe Tshabalala and Rafael Márquez respectively. Apart from it being the first World Cup on African soil, Shabba’s goal was the highlight of the tournament for most African.
