Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Doctor Khumalo has condemned the attacks on foreign nationals that has reportedly claimed five lives in KwaZulu-Natal in the last few days.

“Such attacks can never be condoned,” Khumalo told the official Chiefs website.

“If people disagree with each other, they should talk, as we say at Chiefs, in Love & Peace.

“There are certain ways to deal with issues and the way this situation is being handled at present is simply wrong. I appeal to all – we should not allow this to happen in South Africa.

“It doesn’t matter if you are born in South Africa or not,” continues Khumalo. “What matters is that we live together in the same country. Whatever the background, we are all brothers and sisters! We are all Africans.”
