Pitso Mosimane says Mamelodi Sundowns will depend on their previous African camps for their Caf Champions League tournament.

For the past two seasons, Sundowns have been to Ghana and Zimbabwe as part of their training camps ahead of the PSL seasons.

And now as they begin their Caf campaign this weekend, Mosimane said that experience should come in handy.

“We will call on that experience,” he said.

“We have not been in this tournament for seven years and such as long time means we have no idea on how to handle it.”

Mosimane said it will not only be the club camps which will be invaluable for their Caf assignment but also his.

“I mean I will also use my five years with Bafana Bafana,” he said.

“That’s my personal experience.”

It is a known fact that playing on the continent is not a Sunday morning park walk and the PSL winning coach said his team will prioritise the results than playing frills and thrills.

“It is about grinding the results,” he said.

“No more pretty football.”

The Brazilians travel Seychelles this Saturday, where they will face St Michel United.

Mosimane will be hoping for a positive start as they aim to win this continental trophy.
