Serero, Jali, Furman and Rantie all sat out the morning session at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Campus, after arriving in the country only late on Monday night.
But by the afternoon, Bafana coach Shakes Mashaba had his full compliment of players available for training, with the squad working out on the artificial surface at the sports facility.
Bafana are training once a day on the synthetic pitch in preparation for the surface they will play on against Congo-Brazzaville in Pointe Noire in Saturday’s 2015 Africa Cup of Nations Group A qualifier.
Mashaba currently has a squad of 24 players in camp, with defenders Ayabulela Magqwaka and Anele Ngcongca both ruled out through injury. Magqwaka has a calf strain, while Ngcongca has a knee injury.
Bafana should have a replacement for Ngcongca named by later today.
Bafana will play Congo-Brazzaville twice in five days, in Pointe Noire on Saturday afternoon, and in Polokwane on Wednesday evening.
Congo-Brazzaville are currently top of Group A, with Bafana two points behind in second.
