Stars have been pitted against Supersport United in the last 16, and will take on Matsatsantsa at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
“The Telkom Knockout is a cup that any team can win,” Masehe told the club’s website.
“That means we all have a chance to compete and an equal chance of lifting the silverware. We … are looking to make the best out of this year’s campaign. We want to go all out and leave no stone unturned.
“It only takes four games to become champions of this competition. You win the round of 16, then the quarterfinal, semifinal and the final. It is possible.”
Stars are currently sixth on the league table and skipper Masehe believes that the their confidence will inspire them to greater heights.
“The boys are confident and inspired to win,” Masehe added, “the team spirit is high and all of us are looking forward to the competition. The stadium will be a war zone on Saturday because we want to win and I know that they also want the same result.”
Matsatsantsa are currently ninth in the Absa Premiership with nine points from seven games, but have won two in a row since former Bafana Bafana coach Gordon Igesund took over.
