Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has confirmed that they made an offer to sign Zimbabwean forward Knowledge Musona.

Mosimane expressed disappointment at his side failing to secure the services of Musona from Belgium club Anderlecht.

Musona has since joined KAS Eupen on loan from Anderlecht.

“It football you try and get it you can’t. Even with Knowledge, I can confirm to you that we wanted Musona and he decided to go to Aspire (who own Eupen), and we can’t match the Qatar offer, but it is okay.”

As reported earlier, Musona could well end up playing for Sundowns in the future after his agent Mike Makaab confirmed that the Zimbabwean captain will leave Belgium at the end of the season.
