Mzwakhe Mbuli, popular known as the people’s poet, has wished the Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune a speedy recovery from his shoulder injury.

Khune, who has been ruled out for the rest of the season, is set to see a specialist to examine the seriousness of the injury.

Mbuli wished Khune well, saying he hoped to see him back on the field soon.

“Khune I wish you well. I believe our prayers are answered even before we finish praying. Your operation will be successful, you are a successful person, you are South Africa’s number one goalkeeper Itu,” said Mbuli in a video message to Khune.

Khune missed Chiefs’ league clash with Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday afternoon at the FNB Stadium because of the injury.
