News coming out of Egypt is that Zamalek have tabled an offer for outgoing Mamelodi Sundowns forward Khama Billiat.

Zamalek have been linked with the Zimbabwean international since last year.

The club’s assistant coach Tarek Yehia told the media in November last year that Zamalek would try to sign Billiat when the window reopens in January, but that didn’t happen.

Now the Egyptian giants are said to have tabled an offer for Billiat that will make him the highest paid player in Africa.

Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have also been linked with Billiat, while Sundowns are also believed to be keen to retain his services.
