Kgatlana, who joined the US women’s soccer league team early this year to team up with Banyana teammates Linda Motlhalo and Janine van Wyk, has been in good form for the Vera Pauw coached side.
“Thembi has settled in very well, she joined the team a bit late because of the visa, but now she is doing great and seems to be enjoying her football very much. Linda has also been doing well, so this is good for the future of Banyana Banyana,” said Ellis, who was speaking at the Sasol Limitless campaign which aims at increasing participation in women’s football in the country held in Johannesburg on Tuesday.
Kgatlana and teammates have now registered three wins, four draws and four losses in their last 11 matches.
