Bafana coach Stuart Baxter has announced that Orlando Pirates assistant coach Rhulani Mokwena would join his technical team when they travel to Zambia to take part in the four nation’s tournament.

“We have also invited Rhulani Mokwena to travel with us and be part of the technical team in this tournament, we also want young coaches to be empowered,” said Baxter at a media briefing.

Baxter added that Mokwena’s inclusion into the Bafana technical team is part of the plan to have a South African-born coach at the helm of the national team again.

Mokwena has been making waves since leaving Sundowns to join Pirates at the start of the season.
