The Premier Soccer League has given coaches Roger de Sa and Pitso Mosimane five days to explain their comments about referees in their post-match interviews.

De Sa was not happy with some calls made by the referee during his team’s 2-1 loss to Maritzburg United on February 23, while Mosimane made the referee comments after his drew 1-1 with SuperSport United in a Tshwane derby on Saturday, February 24.

“The Premier Soccer League has addressed formal correspondence to the Platinum Stars FC head coach Mr Roger de Sa and to the Mamelodi Sundowns FC coach Mr Pitso Mosimane.

“This follows comments made by the two respective coaches concerning match officials on 23 and 24 February 2018.

“The League has given both coaches five working days to respond to a request asking them to formally confirm or deny the comments attributed to them,” read a statement from PSL.
