Kaizer Chiefs forward Gustavo Paez is amongst a host of injury absentees for the league clash away to Mamelodi Sundowns on Tuesday evening.

The match at Loftus Versfeld Stadium sees Masandawana looking for a third successive league win, while Amakhosi have claimed four points from their last three outings and are sixth on the standings, one place behind Sundowns.

The Soweto giants are currently battling an injury crisis, with Paez and right-back Kgotso Moleko the latest casualties on a list which also includes Tsepo Masilela, Lorenzo Gordinho, Ramahlwe Mphahlele, Emmanuel Letlotlo, Sibusiso Khumalo and Teenage Hadebe.

And it promises to be a challenging week for Chiefs, who also play arch-rivals Orlando Pirates on Saturday. A couple of positive results though would give the Glamour Boys a huge lift.
