Kaizer Chiefs have handed striker Gustavo Paez a new jersey number ahead of the 2017/18 season.

The Venezuelan, who signed with Amakhosi this year in January, played with jersey number 28, but he will jersey number nine this season.

The jersey was worn by Camaldine Abraw last season and with Chiefs having released the Togolese striker, the number nine jersey is available for Paez.

Ahead of the new season, Chiefs believe that the South American will be able to get them goals, having done quite well whenever given a chance.

Paez scored five goals for the club.
