Kaizer Chiefs midfielder George Lebese has warned against complacence ahead of Sunday’s Nedbank Cup clash against Acornbush United.

Amakhosi will face the Second Division giant killers, who knocked out Cape Town City in the previous round at Kwabokweni Stadium just outside of Nelspruit.

“From what I know about them is that they’re a good team in the ABC Motsepe League, and we should approach the game with caution and give it our all to progress to the next stage,” said Lebese.

Chiefs are the most successful club in the tournament’s history with 13 titles, but they have twice been defeated by lower league opposition in the last seven years – FC Cape Town and Baroka FC.
