Caf Champions League champions Mamelodi Sundowns have arrived in Hong Kong this morning.

The Brazilians, who departed from South Africa on Monday, will catch a connecting flight to Osaka later this afternoon.

Sundowns, as African champions, are in Japan to play in the Fifa Club World Cup.

They are the first South African side to qualify for the event following their Caf Champions League triumph in October.

Pitso Mosimane’s men will start their CWC campaign against the winner of Japanese J-League winners Kashima Antlers and New Zealand’s Auckland City’s on Sunday.

Antlers and City are set to meet on Thursday.
