Zamalek coach Momen Soliman has vowed to do his best to beat Mamelodi Sundowns in the Champions League final.

The White Knights were beaten home and away by the Brazilians in the group stages, but Soliman says those losses may have given his team the moral it needs to win the Champions League.

“I followed the double header between Zamalek and Sundowns in the group stages and I know that they play modern football; but Zamalek are ready and we’ll make use of spaces,” Soliman told Kingfut.

“It is possible that the loss against Sundowns in the group stages may give a boost to their moral but this is not an option Zamalek because we are in the final, not just the group stages.”

Zamalek will visit Sundowns in Pretoria in the first leg of the final on Saturday, October 15, and then host Sundowns a week later.
