According to a source close to Ea Lla Koto, Semenya has signed a one year plus one year option with the club.
The 33-year-old defender was released by Dikwena at the end of last season after making just six league appearances.
Semenya survived a horrific car accident in Rustenburg last season, an accident that led to his wife’s death and that restricted his game time.
Meanwhile, as reported by Phakaaathi earlier, former Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns, Platinum Stars and Polokwane City defender Punch Masenamela is currently on trial with Stars as he looks to revive his ailing football career.
Also trying his luck at Stars is former AmaZulu and University of Pretoria centre-back Willem Mwedihanga.
