Bafana and Botswana tied at half-time

Bafana Bafana and Botswana played to a 1-1 draw at the half-time break in their Cosafa Castle Cup final played at Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek on Saturday night.

It was the Zebras who took the lead in as early as the 16th minute when Okgabetse Makgantai took a long range shot that caught Reyaad Pieterse off his line.

Bafana took the game to Botswana as they try to look for the equaliser and they were rewarded with a penalty in the 31st minute when the Zebras captain Boitumelo Masuku was adjudged to have fouled Judas Moseamedi inside the box.

Gift Motupa equalised for South Africa from the penalty spot to make it 1-1.
