Orlando Pirates striker Thamsanqa Gabuza’s apology for his rude gesture towards the fans has been met with mixed reaction on Twitter with some even questioning on whether the player did write the statement himself.

This comes after Gabuza on Tuesday apologised to the club’s supporters for making rude hand gestures towards the crowd while celebrating his goal during the Nedbank Cup semifinal clash against Free State Stars on Saturday.

Supporters responded to the apology on Twitter claiming it wasn’t from the Bafana Bafana striker, while others thought the club’s public relations team wrote it on his behalf.
