The 27-year old player has battled for game time since his return to the Pretoria team after a loan spell with Free State Stars last season.
However, Bongani Zungu’s injury has seen him get more game time in a star-studded Pitso Mosimane’s team who are on the verge of clinching the league title.
“This can only be God, this can only be the finger of God. When I think of where I come from, this can only be God. When I look in the mirror I smile, this can only be God. From nobody to somebody, from just having an identity, to being a celebrity, this can only be God. From one bedroom to a big mansion, from no money to a millionaire, this is Jehovah. I was Jobless now I have a job, I was empty but now I have plenty on my table, this is Jehovah,” wrote Mabunda on his Facebook account.
“I’m rising high, going higher like an eagle, this can only be God, the finger of God. Things are changing, my life is changing, my story is changing, this can only be God yeah, the finger of God. This is truly the hand of God at work. Thank you Lord for fulfilling the prophecy in the bible that says “those who wait on you, you shall renew their strength.
“All the glory honour and praise belongs to you. May your name be exalted now and forever more for you are holy Lord, God almighty.”
