Chippa United CEO Peter Kotroulis says questions regarding the Port Elizabeth side selling its PSL status to Moroka Swallows should be directed to club chairman’s Chippa Mpengesi.

Recent media reports suggest that Swallows are working on a deal that will see them return to the Absa Premier League, and Chippa United were listed as the team said to relinquish their status to the Dube Birds.

“I don’t know anything about the news of a deal or talks of an ongoing PSL status talks with Moroka Swallows,” Kotroulis told Africanfootball.com.

“All I know is that the chairman (Chippa Mpengesi) is keen on growing the club in the PSL and I think you can call him and see what he can tell you.

“As far as I know, this club is set to stay in the PSL and this is a family with our supporters that’s all I can say to you.”
