Sikhakhane to take Chippa to court?

Suspended Chippa United coach Roger Sikhakhane will take the club to court should he be dismissed at a hearing.

Sikhakhane has been placed on “special leave” for misconduct after it was alleged he reeked of alcohol while on duty with the team at the Nelson Mandela Commemoration Cup game against Mthatha Bucks on December 6.

Club boss Siviwe Mpengesi confirmed the hearing would take place before the end of the year where Sikhakhane’s fate will be decided.

A source has revealed to Phakaaathi that Sikhakhane is likely to take the matter to court as he sees the allegations as baseless and malicious.

Dan Malesela has been appointed the caretaker coach and will be assisted by Mbuyiselo Sambu.
