Orlando Pirates’ late offer for Mamelodi Sundowns players, including Mogakolodi Ngele was turned down, Phakaaathi sources have claimed.

The Buccaneers are said to have made another offer for Ngele on Thursday afternoon in a bid to reel in another top signing before the transfer window closed.

“Sundowns didn’t accept their offers. I hear they even tried to get him on loan but could not reach an agreement before the transfer window closed. They could try again in January if they still need him,” said the source.

Other players the source claimed Pirates wanted from Sundowns included want-away midfielder Khama Billiat and Leonardo Castro.
