PSL postpones Ajax Cape Town fixtures


Following Cecil Lolo’s death, the Premier Soccer League (PSL) has postponed two of Ajax Cape Town’s fixtures.

According to a statement issued by the League, Wednesday’s clash against Platinum Stars and Saturday’s match against Golden Arrows have been postponed to allow the club to mourn the player’s death.

“The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has granted a request by Ajax Cape Town to postpone two of their up-coming Absa Premiership fixtures following the death of their player, Cecil Lolo.

The following fixtures have been postponed:

Wednesday, October 28:
Platinum Stars vs Ajax Cape Town, Moruleng Stadium

Saturday, October 31:
Golden Arrows vs Ajax Cape Town, Chatsworth Stadium.

“The League will confirm new dates for the two fixtures in due course,” read the PSL statement.
