A source at the PSL has revealed that the league is likely to move fixtures to allow the Cape side and the rest of the teams to mourn.
“There are talks going on at the moment,” said a source who wished to remain anonymous.
“A decision will be made today and it will be communicated to the clubs.”
The source further revealed that the league is not keen to move the Soweto derby fixture on Saturday where Orlando Pirates will take on Kaizer Chiefs at the FNB Stadium.
“It is highly unlikely,” added the source, “because the match is not directly affected. There is going to be a moment of silence and that match will go on as planned.”
Details of Lolo’s accident remain sketchy‚ but it is understood the 27-year-old football star’s car collided with another vehicle on Spine Road near the N2 highway.
One other person is also reported to have died in the accident.
The Urban Warriors are understood to have have made a request to the PSL that Wednesday night’s game against Dikwena be moved.
