Moholo had been training at Wits for the past week with the hope of impressing Hunt and ultimately earn himself a contract. But Hunt said they are not interested in the player.

“No man we are full in that position,” Hunt said.

“Unfortunately, we cannot sign him.”

Moholo is set to continue looking for a club as it appears his mother club Orlando Pirates are not keen on retaining him.

The former Free State Stars midfielder spent last season on loan at Chippa United.

United seems less interested in retaining him as well.

The Clever boys are off to Cape Town for a training camp and they will be minus most of their trialists.

Among the those expecting to earn a move to Wits is former Moroka Swallows striker Thulani Ngcepe, who started training with Wits the same time as Moholo.
