Former Chiefs striker signs for Swedish club

Former Kaizer Chiefs forward Matthew Rusike has signed for Swedish club Helsingborgs IF.

Rusike was playing for relegated Allsvenskan side Halmstads BK lasts season. The former Amakhosi man will stay in the top flight of Swedish football after securing a three-year transfer deal with Helsingborgs.

“It will be exciting to work with Matthew,” said  manager Henrik Larsson. “I look forward to seeing him here. As a player, he will be of great benefit to Helsingborgs IF over the next three years.”

Rusike is delighted with signing for a team with a great history. elsingborgs is the third team that Rusike has signed for since leaving  Chiefs last season.

“It is a wonderful feeling to be part of a great club. I have always known HIF as a big club in Sweden and Scandinavia. I am a fast striker and long  to work hard for the team,” said Rusike.
