Caf name officials for Under-23 Afcon matches

Confederation of African Football (Caf) has released the names of match officials set to take charge of the opening games of the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations in Senegal.

The match between Senegal and South Africa will be officiated by Moroccan Redouane Jiyed. He will be assisted by Berhe O’Michael from Eritrea and Yahaya Mahamadou of Nigeria. Cameroon’s Antoine Effa Essouma will be the forth official.

“The other Group A match between Zambia and Tunisia will have Burkinabe Juste Ephrem Zio directing affairs from the middle. Mozambican Arsenio Marengula and Sidiki Sidibe of Guinea are the assistant Rrferees. Mehdi Abid Charef of Algeria is the fourth official.

South Africa are in Group A with hosts Senegal, Zambia and Tunisia.
