Siphiwe Tshabalala says Bafana Bafana did well to get a good result away in Benguela as it eases the pressure going into the second leg of the World Cup qualifier against Angola on Tuesday night.
Bafana enhanced their chances of progressing to the next stage of the qualifiers when they beat Angola 1-3 in Benguela, with Tokelo Rantie, Thamsanqa Gabuza and Andile Jali scoring the goals.
“Well done to the national team for getting the desired results on Friday. The guys did well and are showing that they want to do the best that they can. The result at the end of the day was in our favour and all we need to do now is make sure that we get behind the boys for them to finish off the job here at home on Tuesday,” said Tshabalala.
Bafana will face Angola at Moses Mabhida Stadium tonight at 7pm.
