Niang says Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane phoned him while he was in Europe to tell him the good news, KickOff reported.

The Senegalese said this was an opportunity he has been longing for and didn’t even think twice about joining the team.

Niang has also attracted interests from Orlando Pirates, Bidvest Wits and Bloemfontein Celtic. He says he decided to join Sundowns because it’s a winning team and it’s the only team that will bring him a real challenge.
