SuperSport CEO Stan Matthews said the club was said to see Phala leave.

”We are sad to see Thuso go. He’s been a part of the club through an extremely successful period in our history. Four cup wins and a further three cup finals, including the Caf Confederation Cup final. We’ll miss Thuso, especially his unique [celebration moves] and dance,” said Matthews.

Phala joined SuperSport as a free agent in July 2013.
