The former Bafana Bafana defender says he was introduced to aerobics when he was going through rehabilitation for an injury that he never came back from.
“When I was doing rehab trying to recover from the ankle injury, I was busy with aerobics, I liked it, the ankle kept giving me problems and I decided to go back home and start classes. It started small and we gained more members as we went along,” said Thwala in an interview with SABC Sport.
The 36-year-old has no formal qualification to teach aerobics but many people attend his classes in Nelspruit.
