Bantwana through to last round qualifiers

Simphiwe Dludlu is happy with the progress of her Bantwana team after they went through to the last round of the 2018 Fifa Under-17 women's World Cup qualifiers.

Bantwana made it through to the last phase of the qualifiers after beating Botswana 11-6 on aggregate.

“The biggest thing is that the girls are getting better at certain situations like when the opponents just kick the ball upfront and how do we react and rise above that,” said Dludlu.

“I am happy with the development of the game and they are always learning because most of them are new in the national team set-up.”

Dludlu’s charges will now battle it out with Morrocco for the spot at the global competition to be hosted in Uruguay.
