The search for a striker continues at Chiefs

Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela says the club has not put their search for s striker on the back burner.

Chiefs have been searching for a striker since the beginning of the season. There have been over 10 trialists at the club, however, none of them made the cut.

“It is still going on (search for a striker) we have a slot, we are fighting, we have to get one, I can’t put time frames (on when the striker will be signed),” said Komphela.

Chiefs currently have Bernard Parker, Gustavo Páez, Emmanuel Matlotlo, Ryan Moon, Yusuf Bunting and Bongolethu Jayiya in their striking department.
