City confirmed the news on their official Twitter account.
The winger got injured earlier this year while on international duty with the national team prior to the start of the Cosafa Cup.
“Finally back after sustaining a knee injury during Bafana duty at the end of last season! #iamCityFC #Ngoma11,” the club tweeted.
Ngoma was one of City’s best players last season, scoring seven goals and making an incredible 16 assists.
The winger might mark his return when City take on Baroka FC in a league clash at the Cape Town Stadium on Tuesday.
