Kaizer Chiefs' 19-year-old right back, Siyabonga Ngezana, says Steve Komphela told the youngsters at the club they were the solution to the team’s problems.

Ngezana scored for Amakhosi on debut in their 2-1 victory against Mamelodi Sundowns at Loftus Versfeld on Tuesday night. He was named Man-of-the-Match afterwards.

“He said, we are not the answers for this team, but the solutions, so we must keep on going, helping the team. Every point is crucial,” the youngster told SuperSport TV after the match.

“I’m taking it game by game. I don’t rush anything. Every game means more hard work. Credit to my teammates, it’s all for them.”

The right back added he wanted to keep on scoring goals for the club.

Ngezana is the second Chiefs youngster to score on debut this season after Wiseman Meyiwa also scored on his debut against Cape Town City.
