Is Pirates goalie bitter about Masuluke’s goal?

Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Jackson Mabokgwane has not voted for Oscarine Masuluke's spectacular goal that was nominated for the Puskas Awards.

Mabokgwane was between the sticks for Pirates when Masuluke scored an equaliser for Baroka FC last year.

It seems the Buccaneers shot-stopper hasn’t healed from conceding the injury time goal.

“I’m a football player I don’t go around voting, I only play football,” Jackson Mabokgwane told PowerFM when asked if he voted for Masuluke for the Puskas Award.

Mabokgwane admits the goal is worthy of a top three Fifa nomination, however, adds that he is basing his view on the importance of the goal and not on his Baroka counterpart’s skill.

“I’m not surprised the goal is in top three because of the importance. It was in the dying minutes and he got points for his team. Funny enough I was actually named Man of the Match in that game but after his goal they gave it to him,” explained Mabokgwane.
