Khune: City game is a turning point

Phakaaathi Reporter

Kaizer Chiefs captain Itumeleng Khune says Amakhosi are looking at tonight’s game against Cape Town City as a turning point.

“We have to get back to winning ways. We are aware of City and their form,” Khune told the Chiefs website.

“We anticipate a good challenge from City. They deserve the credit and respect. They have been consistent, but they must know we are playing at home.

“We are professionals and we will get through this slump. If you check, in some of the games that we failed to win, we played well. We just couldn’t covert our chances.”

Chiefs, who have been winless in their last five games, are set to host the high-flying City at FNB Stadium at 7.30pm.
