Goalkeeper Ngobeni was the difference between the Soweto giants and the Free State outfit saving two stop kicks in the penalty shootout.
Sekotlong scored in extra-time to give Ea Lla Koto the lead, however, Eric Mathoho levelled the score to send the game into penalties.
“I am very happy for him, he is really an exceptional player and I am not surprised that he was at big teams like Kaizer Chiefs and Sundowns, those are big teams and they sign good players,” Sekotlong told African Football.
“He is showing his potential and the quality that the big teams saw in him.
“He is taking this opportunity with both hands, because that was a really great performance and he won the game for us on Sunday.”
