Platinum Stars coach Cavin Johnson believes the right attitude from his players will help them beat SuperSport United.

Dikwena will host SuperSport United on Sunday afternoon at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium.

Stars have only scored two goal in as many games, winning by 1-0 scored line against Mpumalanga Black Aces in a match before the international break and playing to a 1-1 draw with Ajax Cape Town in a midweek clash.

“If we have the right team and the right mentality then for sure we can win the game and lift ourselves up from not being consistent in the Nedbank Cup,” said Johnson.

“I think we can step up and finish up there and perhaps get an African spot. We will try and do that all the time. We need to stay in third place.

“We are going to have to dig deep and probably deeper than what we have been doing now in order to stay where we are.”
