Kaizer Chiefs winger William Twala believes the hard work the team put in during training will bring the results they need.

Chiefs gave away a 2-1 lead against Mpumalanga Black Aces on Tuesday night to end up sharing the spoils with the hosts.

Twala was instrumental in the game, creating scoring opportunities for his team-mates, most of which were not converted. He was humble and didn’t take credit for his contribution on the night.

“We are working hard at training and soon the wanted results will come. It is not about me. It is about the team,” Twala told the club’s website.

The pacey winger was called up to the national team last month and says he has learned a lot from the experience.

Amakhosi are set to face Ajax Cape Town on Saturday night at the FNB stadium.

“It was a great motivator to be selected for the national team,” said Twala. “Ajax are a good side.

“We need the points as much as they do. It will be a tough match.”
