Amakhosi lost 2-0 to Orlando Pirates in the Soweto derby this past weekend and Johnson is expecting Chiefs to run at Dikwena as they try to redeem themselves.

“The fact that they lost the Nedbank Cup game, they are going to come out and they are going to run at us and we are preparing ourselves. We expect that and we are expecting to play a good game of football against Chiefs,” Johnson told the Stars’ official Twitter account.

“We expect Chiefs to put a good team against us in order to redeem themselves. We would try match them pound for pound and if we can, we would be in with a good chance to come away with something from the game.

“We expect a tough game and we expect to put on a good performance. Hopefully the players are able to put on a good performance and we have a good game to watch.”

The game is set to start at 7.30pm.
