Gabuza has been left out of the Buccaneers’ last two matches, after a loss of form, but could return against Amakhosi  – the Bafana striker has scored in the last two Soweto derbies.

“(Lehlohonolo) Majoro and (Tendai) Ndoro have been doing well. Gabuza hasn’t had much luck in past matches so his confidence has been low,” Tinkler told a press conference on Thursday.

“We’ve been working with Gabuza in training and he is looking sharp and in good spirits, so we are happy about that.”

The Orlando Pirates coach also gave an update on Pirates’ current injury situation.

“Oupa (Manyisa) will be back in April, Rooi (Mahamutsa) and Happy (Jele) are back, (Siyabonga) Sangweni will be out for the rest of the season with torn ligaments,” said Tinkler.
